ABOUT THE AWARDS
Featuring 10 categories, the HR Stars Awards stand as one of Southeast Asia’s most extensive platforms for celebrating excellence in the HR profession. At the same time, they remain among the most accessible.
Chief of Staff Asia, in partnership with its presenting sponsors, invites nominations from organisations of every size — from startups to multinationals. Submitting a nomination is completely free, always has been, and always will be. Winners will also gain the chance to select from a range of exclusive WINNERS’ PACKAGES at the conclusion of the programme.

IN SEARCH OF HR'S BRIGHTEST STARS
The search is underway. Chief of Staff Asia has launched the inaugural HR Stars Awards, with nominations now open across 10 categories in the Singapore.
The programme recognises excellence in the field of human resources, celebrating both individuals and organisations that have demonstrated exceptional achievement. Each award category reflects the evolving challenges and opportunities of today’s business environment.
As the region’s premier HR recognition platform, the HR Stars Awards offer a unique opportunity to highlight outstanding contributions within Southeast Asia, with influence that extends across international borders.

Presented for the love of HR!
Paul Howell, Managing Director of Chief of Staff Asia, says the awards are produced in line with the magazine’s brand promise: to be there “For the love of HR”.
“This is one of our ways of giving back to the HR community here in Singapore, and across Southeast Asia,” he says. “We hope the awards will showcase the amazing breadth of HR practice and innovation in this part of the world, and draw out some otherwise unheralded stories of achievement and success.”

															Two stages of excellence
The HR Stars Awards judging panel, made up of a cross-section of former Chief HR Officers, HR industry and technology experts, and the region’s most experienced workplace journalists, has a dual role.
They will assess all entries after the close of nominations on October 28. From those initial assessments, based on the nominee’s responses to the specific criteria for each category, a shortlist of two to four finalists will be named, and featured across Chief of Staff Asia platforms.
Those finalists will each make a second submission, in direct response to follow-up queries from the judging panel. And that will be used, in tandem with the original nomination, to select a single winner in each category and market.

															DETERMINING Singapore's EMPLOYER OF CHOICE
The judging panel will also be responsible for selecting finalists for the coveted Employer of Choice Award in Singapore. Employers are not able to nominate directly for this prize. Instead, their collective efforts across a number of categories — both individual and organisation-level — will be what gets them noticed.
The finalists will be announced on November 3-9, and each will be asked to share a little more on their broad HR strategies, achievements, and underlying philosophies. The judging panel will then select the winner in this category, independent of the results from other trophies for which they are finalists.
ALL EYES ON DECEMBER
